We lost the shingles on the south side of the roof in a freak wind and rain storm which damaged much of what had been completed in Apt 1. We are currently replacing the existing roof with a new metallic roof in Antique Bronze.

About Us
Lake Placid is the place!!!
We are a family of four that fell in love with the Village
of Lake Placid and rugged beauty of the Adirondacks.
We had been looking for a house in snow country and
when we visited the village in 2002 we all knew LP
was the place for us. We closed on the house in May
of that year. We then began a complete
refurbishment of the house to bring it up to our
standards. We believe that if you provide a current,
meticulously clean home then the people it will attract
will be the same.
Our Goals
Our goal is to provide a family setting that is a
home away from home. An Adirondack home
away from home located in the village where you
can walk to most functions, that is clean, nicely
furnished, spacious, fun and great place to go to
relax and enjoy the mountains.
We are constantly upgrading...
We use the PLACIDMOOSE as our weekend
mountain house and are there frequently. We love
refurbishing homes and will most likely always being
doing "something" around the property. We look
forward to meeting you!

wall with 2.5 yards of concrete for the foundation,
complete with rebar and a new block wall to support the
